To encompass the needs for a smaller and lighter helicopter as a complement to the AS350B3 Mountain Air Helicopters has chosen the MD-500D.  This 4 passenger, compact helicopter has long been a stable in the helicopter industry as a low cost way to move crews and supplies to remote job locations when the A-Star is to much.
